Name: Saiko Yamaoka
Age: 19

Personality: Reclusive, though kind at times. She is a great coward too, and rather flees than fight. Easily scared by visions of the future.

Weapon(s): None but wits.

Abilities: She constantly sees both the future and the past at the same time, which give her highly accurate precognitive abilities. She can store the psychic feedback of those visions and release the feedback energy later to prevent brain damage.

Fighting style: Mostly consists of (cowardly) running and dodging, waiting for a chance to unleashed the stored psychic feedback. The release of the feedback (looks like something close to black lightning) comes in two types: A concentrated long-range beam, and a close-range pulse. Both feedback attacks can cause the victim's brain to cease some functions, such as the vision and/or other senses, movement or memory. These functions will only cease temporarily though, as no real damage is done to the victim's brain.

History/Motivations: Saiko has lived in a government-funded research facility with other patients which have heightened mental abilities for as long as she can remember. She didn't dislike her life there though. In fact, she has many friends there, and she had her own place to flee from her visions. That is, until she had a vision of the destruction of the facility, the only home she ever knew. When one day Nightmare appeared and offered her a chance to save the facility in return for fighting in the tournament, she immediatly accepted.

Pro's: Her precognitive abilities in combination with her speed and lightness allow her to easily dodge incoming attacks. Her constant visions of the future keep charging her psychic feedback storage, so she can almost always recover from a feedback attack.

Con's: She has a very frail body and can be hurt easily. She can also be easily scared, both by "convential" means and by visions of the future. Psychic feedback attacks infilct great headaches on her, and the attacks take a while to recharge again. Storing the feedback energy too long cause severe headaches too.

This is the original Saiko concept before the SDL. The original wore a straitjacket (like they do in the mental asylum), but I like this version better.
